So, here is a quick tutorial on how to set-up the lead form widget on a website or sale pages.

Setting-up Your Lead Form Widget

The first step for setting-up your lead form widget is to click on the “Campaigns” button on the left side of your screen once you have signed-in to your LeadsTunnel account.

After, in the right-hand corner of the page, you’ll see a blue button like the one shown in the image below. Click on it, and then a drop-down list will appear. From the drop-down list, select “+Widget” to begin creating your lead form widget.

After selecting to create a new widget form, you will be taken to a new page to name your campaign and widget form, just as shown in the image below.

It doesn’t matter what you name them, but we recommend naming them something that is easy for you to recall what the widget is for. Such as the name of the website you’re embedding it on and the date.  

Then, decide how you would like to be notified about your new leads. You can select either email or SMS.

Once you click next, you’ll be taken to decide how you want the leads distributed for the campaign. 

This is a great feature for businesses with sales teams. You can individually select the percentage of leads that different members of your teams will be in charge of handling.

But keep in mind, this feature is only available with a LeadsTunnel business account.

Now, it’s time to decide on how you want your widget to look.

As you can see from the image below, you are able to customize the appearance of your lead form widget.

You can change the icon, text, message, and color so that the lead form widget will easily and seamlessly match the appearance of your website.

You also can add your logo and customized questions for new leads to fill-in when submitting their information, which you can select to have required or not. As well as being able to change the text of the submit button. 

And since it is required, you also need to add the URL of your privacy policy to the widget form.

Next, you can decide what you want your confirmation message to be after a new lead has submitted their information. 

You can use the confirmation message to directly send them to a URL that you want them to visit. Such as a sales page, scheduling a phone call, or claiming an eBook. 

Then, take the embed code at the bottom of the page like shown in the image below, and copy and paste it into the backend of your website. 

And you only need to embed the widget lead form once, even if you make changes to it after embedding it, it will just automatically update on your website.

After that, you mustn’t forget to set-up the email service provider or CRM that leads information is being pushed into. 

This way, you can ensure that you follow-up with all your new leads through an automated email or SMS series that you have already set-up through your ESP or CRM.

But, you can also send a follow-up message through LeadsTunnel. So, as soon as they submit their information, they will receive a follow-up email or SMS. 

This is a great cost-effective solution if you don’t have a CRM or ESP yet. Just type in the blank space area the follow-up message you want to send your new leads.

And that’s it! Make sure to add the embed code to your website or sale pages, and you can start collecting new leads!
